Handmade Fabric Mosaic Artwork
This one-off piece has 25 individual mosaic squares. Some squares are hand-painted and printed onto white cotton. Other squares have layers of printed fabrics on them. A number of the squares are cut into triangles to make a kind of patchwork pattern. The fabric shapes are then bonded onto a white polymer square base. The 25 finished squares have been arranged and fixed onto a white ceramic tile then presented in a wooden tray frame. The piece is free standing.
The detailed pattern created in this piece is unique and will not be repeated on another mosaic artwork.
